He later became CEO of a portfolio company and took it public. After its sale, he joined the Omnicom Group to run a marketing agency servicing numerous Fortune 500 companies. (His acquaintance with Bob Rice dates to this position, when their two companies worked together extensively). In 1999, Mr. Haynes began investing in the Native American gaming industry, and he has been involved in the development and financing of gaming operations for the last seven years. He is personally licensed in numerous Native American jurisdictions, and his companies have overseen the installation, placement, operation and maintenance of extensive slot machines holdings.
