Indeed, as operators and bankers, we have been involved in nearly every aspect of the technology business, from advising on mergers to designing chips.

Telecom

Tangent’s principals have been active in telecom from funding venture startups to advising multibillion dollar, multinational enterprises, primarily on the investing side. The principals have managed over $300mm of investments into the industry, and served on the boards of both private and public companies in the sector.

Digital Media

Few institutions can match Tangent’s depth of knowledge in digital media. One of our founders led the creation of one the earliest successful on-line advertising systems, and we have been involved in raising capital for, and participating in the management of, numerous companies in the email, search, education, online video, and sports programming sectors.

Life Sciences

In this industry, Tangent’s affiliate has completed over 60 transactions, including corporate debt and equity financings of over $1.5 billion and M&A advisory assignments with a value of over $1 billion. Clients have spanned the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and diagnostic industries, and have ranged in size from zero to $1 billion in revenues.
